The No. 1 Salesianum Sals hosted the No. 2 Cape Henlopen Vikings in the Boys Lacrosse state championship at Delaware Military Academy Fusco Stadium. These two teams are very familiar with each other and have faced off in many state championships over the last few years.

The Sals jumped out to an early 7-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. They went on to outscore the Vikings 16-6 to win their fourth consecutive state championship. Salesianum went undefeated in state, but had a few losses to nationally ranked out-of -state teams.

Sallies was led by Elliot Dotson and Carson Robins who each scored 4 goals a piece. Cape Henlopen was led by Jacob Schell and Burke Healy who each scored 2 goals a piece.

These two teams have met the last four years straight with Sallies coming away victorious in all four. Cape hasn’t won a state championship since 2019.
