Sophomore pitcher Tori Conner recorded 9 strikeouts & allowed just 3 hits as Archmere shutout St. Elizabeth this afternoon 5-0 in high school softball. Conner also walked & singled twice, scoring a run and collected an RBI.
Archmere received multiple hit games from Ryan Vitola, Kaitlin Lotkowski & Ruby Merenda. Lotkowski drove in two runs while Vitola had an RBI and scored a run. Joyce Kelsey scored twice for the Auks.
Conner walked to start the game, advanced to second on a single by Vitola & scored on an error. Lotkowski doubled Vitola home to make the score 2-0 and those would be all the runs Conner would need gaining her 2nd win of the season.
Viking’s freshman pitcher Hailey Rambo struck out 6 in a losing effort. Erin Donohue, Skylar Gallucio & Victoria Harlam each collected a hit for St. Elizabeth.
