Woodbridge has a win over division 3A Cape Henlopen which they defeated in their season opener 35-21. Indian River visits St Elizabeth’s 10/7 6PM LINK
Indian River takes the long ride north to visit St Elizabeth’s at Abessinio Stadium. The Indians are 2-1 on the season winning two straight games against Odessa and Seaford after they suffered a season opening loss to Stephen Decatur out of Maryland. Indian River has handled their division opponents pretty handily scoring over 30 points a game & only allowing 6. St Elizabeth’s is 4-0 on the season. They also have been able to dominate in division games scoring over 40 points a game and allowing only 18 in 4 games. This will be a big 1A division matchup.
Newark visits Lake Forest 10/9 12PM LINK
Newark takes the ride south to visit 2A division opponent Lake Forest. Newark is 2-2 on the season. They are coming off a big win over Delcastle 31-0. Lake Forest is 3-1 on the season and suffered their first loss last week as they fell to Sussex Tech 10-0. Lake Forest is going to be playing this game as the homecoming game and will be hoping to get back on the winning track.

Smyrna visits St George’s 10/9 12PM LINK
Smyrna will be playing in a rare Saturday game as they visit St George’s. Smyrna is 3-2 on the season with losses coming to nationally ranked Bergen Catholic (NJ) and #1 Middletown. They are coming off a big victory last week blanking Sussex Central 42-0. St George’s is 3-1 coming into this game on the season. They suffered a week 2 loss to Dover. However since then they have won two straight over a tough Salesianum team and cross town rival Appoquinimink. This is a big 3A division matchup.
