TKo Hospitality and Hyatt Place Dewey Beach are thrilled to announce the success of their fundraising concert featuring the Amish Outlaws, held over Memorial Day weekend on the bayside beach at the Lighthouse with Hyatt Dewey Beach. The event aimed to raise funds for Sam’s KIDS, an organization dedicated to providing essential goods and services to at-risk children, successfully generated an impressive $10,700 through generous donations.
Sam’s KIDS, formerly known as The Delaware KIDS Fund, was established in 2008 by Harvey, Hanna & Associates, Inc. The organization was renamed in November 2023 to honor Samuel J. Hanna and continues its mission to support children in distressed situations throughout Delaware.
“We are incredibly proud to have hosted such a successful event,” said Andrew DiFonzo, Vice President of Operations at TKo Hospitality. “The support from our community, the enthusiasm of the attendees, and the amazing performance by the Amish Outlaws all contributed to a memorable weekend and a significant contribution to Sam’s KIDS.”
The free concert attracted hundreds of attendees, who enjoyed a fantastic evening of music while contributing to a worthy cause. The scenic location at the Lighthouse on the bay provided a perfect backdrop for the event, enhancing the experience for all who attended.

Hanna, Co-Founder of Sam’s KIDS (with wife Lexie Hanna). “The funds raised will help ensure that local, at-risk children benefit from our four essential programs: animal therapy and education, academic scholarships, food and nutrition support through elementary-based food closets, and safety provisions through clothing and shelter.”
