TidalHealth Nanticoke is pleased to announce that Tiffany Lord, CST, of the Surgical Specialties and Robotics Unit (SSRU), is its inaugural Sunshine Award recipient. Lord was selected for her care and special attention shown recently to a patient who submitted the following nomination:
“Tiffany is such a great person. When I first was getting out of bed after surgery, I took an hour, but not once did she try to rush me, nor did she act like I was getting on her nerves. Every time I rang the bell, she was there in good time and helped me with everything. She even walked with me and gave me someone to talk to while I was moving around and couldn’t sleep. Tiffany went above and beyond for me and made my stay easier.”
Lord was honored in a ceremony before her coworkers and presented with fresh flowers, a pin and a certificate recognizing her exceptional devotion to team and patient care.
