The Chancery Market Gets Into The Olympic Spirit

he Chancery Market is bringing the 2024 Olympic Games to Downtown Wilmington! From a ping pong tournament to a burger eating contest and everything in between, guests can bring their patriotic spirit and win prizes from Monday, July 26 through Sunday, August 11!

On Monday, July 29, The Chancery Market will host a ping pong tournament in the new Game Room. The tournament will be capped at 20 players and begins at 5pm.

Monday, August 5 will be the cornhole tournament. This will be capped at 10 teams and begins at 5pm.

Guests who would rather dine than play have a chance to compete in The Chancery Loyalty Olympics! Spend at least $10 at each of The Chancery’s vendors and bar between July 29 and August 11, get your passport stamped, and submit it by August 12 to win gift cards and other prizes. Passports will be available at the bar or Concierge Desk.

Finally, on August 10, those with an Olympic-sized appetite can hunker down to the 6-patty challenge from Market St. Burger & Dog! The challenge consists of eating a 6-patty bacon cheeseburger, one pound of fries, a pickle and 20-ounce soda in 15 minutes. There is a $50 entrance fee. The winner receives $50, a t-shirt, a gift card to The Chancery Market and bragging rights! Sign up online here.

Guests can expect Olympic-themed drinks, the 2024 Olympic Games on all the televisions, and plenty of opportunities to win!
