Hagley visitors can tour the Eleutherian Mills home, garden and barn.
Hagley Museum and Library has reopened with limited access for visitors following historic flooding from Ida.
A press release announcing the opening did not detail the extent of the damage, but said damage assessment continues.
The site of du Pont’s original gunpowder mills, Hagley sits along the Brandywine River, which rose more than 20 feet Sept. 2 because of downpours by the remnants of Hurricane Ida.
A Hagley spokeswoman has previously said roads and some buildings were flooded.
Admission prices have been reduced for a special āHistoric Home and Gardenā tour for visitors and members. Areas available to tour include the Eleutherian Mills Residence, E.I. du Pont Garden, Hagley Barn, and a curated display of patent models in the Hagley Library.
Ticket will temporarily costĀ $8 for adults; $6 for seniors (62+) and students; and $4 for children (ages 6-14). Entry is free for Hagley members, active military members and their families, and children under 6.
The museum has not yet rescheduled the open of its new permanent exhibit, “Nation of Inventors,” which was set to open Monday, Sept. 13.
Visitors should use the Hagley entrance off Route 100 with GPS address 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807.
The changes have been in effect since Sept. 9.
The property will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.
