College Raptor, a company that helps families discover college matches driven by AI algorithms to find the best colleges at the best price, designated the Wilmington school a 2025 Hidden Gem.
That recognition means the school is one of the best colleges in the country based on a combination of factors such as retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, endowment per student, selectivity and other key metrics.
“Being recognized as a hidden gem is truly an honor because it recognizes that GBC provides education of value and students are keenly aware of that,” said Dr. Colleen Perry Keith, school president.
Tuition for the school is $14,790 a year.
Goldey-Beacom offers 11 undergraduate majors and seven graduate majors, and it began accepting students into three new degree programs in fall 2023:
Bachelor of Science in Digital Marketing
Cybersecurity and Esports concentration in a Bachelor of Science in Business
Gaming Administration concentration in a Bachelor of Science in Business
“In fact, GBC is a place where education meets opportunity as we prepare graduates to thrive in the business and professional world through not just the education we provide, but how we do so,” Perry Keith said.
She cited the college’s personalized support, hands-on learning experience, industry-expert instructors and strong commitment to career outcomes as factors in helping their students succeed.
“As we tell our story more and louder, we will eventually fall off the Hidden Gem list, but our commitment to what we do and how we do it will stay intact,” she said.
For more than a decade, the school has had a 90% placement rate for graduates, meaning students are landing jobs in the fields they studied for.
