“The times, they are a changin!” The Kent County Theatre Guild is proud to present Jack Heifner’s Vanities: a bittersweet look at the lives of three Texas girls as they grow from bubbly cheerleaders to college coeds to young women. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of 1960s and 1970s America, Vanities highlights the realities of friendship and the transformative power of time.
The show opens on Feb. 10 at the Patchwork Playhouse in Dover. Performances are each Friday and Saturday between Feb. 10 and 25 at 8 p.m., with a special matinee show on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.kctg.org or at the door. General Admission is $20 and discounts are available for Military/Senior/Students and Kent County Theatre Guild Members. Proceeds from beverages, snacks, and bar support The Guild’s work and future productions. The Patchwork Playhouse is located at 140 E. Roosevelt Avenue in Dover.
