14th District Democratic Committee to Feature
Speaker of the House Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf
During July 13 Meeting at Iron Hill Brewery

Lewes, Del., July 6, 2022 — Speaker of the House Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf will be the featured guest at the July 13 meeting of Delaware’s 14th District Democratic Committee. Rep. Schwartzkopf, D-Rehoboth Beach, will discuss the just completed 2022 legislative session, described as one of the most productive in recent memory.

A full-time legislator with a background in public safety, Rep. Schwartzkopf was first elected to the Delaware House of Representatives in 2002. Earlier this summer, he filed to run for an eleventh term representing the 14th House District, which includes communities in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Angola.

At the 14th RD meeting, taking place at the Iron Hill Brewery on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach, Rep. Schwartzkopf will report on the latest bills passed in 2022, focusing on their impact on the area’s coastal communities. The meeting will begin with a Dutch-treat dinner at 5:00 pm, followed by Rep. Schwartzkopf’s remarks at 6:00 pm, and committee business at 6:30 pm.
