Cape May–Lewes Ferry earns 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award

The Cape May–Lewes Ferry has once again been recognized for excellence in hospitality, earning Tripadvisor’s® 2025 Travelers’ Choice® Award. 

The honor places the Delaware Bay ferry service among the top 10% of destinations worldwide, based entirely on glowing reviews and high ratings from travelers.

This marks the 14th time the ferry has received the award, which celebrates businesses that consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences.

“Earning the Travelers’ Choice Award is a testament to our employees’ dedication and commitment to deliver quality customer service,” said Heath Gehrke, Director of Ferry Operations. “We are incredibly grateful to every guest who took the time to share their experiences on Tripadvisor. Open year-round, the ferry is a key transportation link and tourism driver for Delaware and New Jersey, supporting over 4,000 jobs and generating hundreds of millions of dollars in regional economic activity.
