BETHANY BEACH— The Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival is set to return for its 47th year on Saturday, September 6, offering a full day of art, entertainment, and community engagement along the scenic Bethany Beach boardwalk.
Organized by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature more than 100 juried artists from across the region.
Visitors can expect a wide range of fine art and handcrafted items, including paintings, photography, jewelry, woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, and more.
The celebration kicks off the evening before, on Friday, September 5, with a special “Meet the Artists” reception hosted by Gallery One in Ocean View.

Sponsored by the Delaware Division of the Arts, the RSVP-only event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature work by 16 Gallery One artists.
Guests will enjoy wine tastings courtesy of Salted Vines Vineyard and Winery and light fare by Taste Events.
Attendees will also be entered into a drawing to win a $300 Gallery One gift card and a piece of original pottery by artist John Cooley.
During Saturday’s main event, artist booths will span Garfield Parkway, the Bethany Bandstand, and surrounding streets, offering visitors plenty of opportunities to browse and purchase unique pieces.
The festival also includes a silent auction at the bandstand stage, with proceeds going toward arts programs in local elementary schools. The auction is sponsored by Custom Mechanical.
Also returning this year is the Wine & Cheese Tasting event, sponsored by Beach Liquors.
Hosted on the third floor of Harvest Tide Steakhouse, the tasting will be held in two sessions from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring a curated selection of wines.
