NEWARK— The Delaware Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy, a division of the Department of Human Resources, has partnered with ChristianaCare to open the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame Portrait Exhibition at the health system’s Newark campus.

“ChristianaCare is proud to partner with the state to host an exhibition that celebrates the pioneering women who have played vital roles in shaping and uplifting Delaware,” said Amy Marston, MBA, MPH, Campus President of the ChristianaCare Newark Campus.

The exhibition, located beside the Center for Heart & Vascular Health lobby, showcases more than 170 watercolor portraits by Delaware artist Theresa Walton. Each piece honors a woman who has been inducted into the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame.

“This exhibition highlights their achievements and embodies the spirit of empowerment reflected in the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame. By showcasing this exhibition, we aim to inspire and reaffirm ChristianaCare’s commitment to creating a supportive environment where women are valued and provided with the opportunities and resources they need to succeed, ultimately inspiring future generations of women in our community,” Marston said.
