Here’s where to be tested for COVID around Delaware Sept. 7-12

Don't worry if registration says a site is full. Most have extra tests for those who don't register. If you need a test, go to be tested.

Wilmington, New Castle County and the state of Delaware have ramped testing up as kids head back to schools, in-person and virtual.

Some quick rules:

— Testing is free.

— Many places ask for registration in advance, but all stock tests for those who don’t have one. You usually can register on site unless it’s expressly said that you cannot.

— City, state and county test by Curative are saliva based. Walgreens tests are nasal swabs.

— Even if a registration says the event is full, go to get a test if you need or want one, health officials say.
