Middletown police seek help IDing people at Wawa fight

The fight was connected to an incident earlier in the evening in which two people were shot, the chief said.

Middletown police posted a video of a July 5 fight in a Wawa parking lot there and asked the public to help them identify the participants and vehicles involved.

The video is about 7 minutes into the monthly video crime report and is taken from a Facebook page, according to Chief Robert Kracyl, who narrates.

The fight was connected to an incident earlier in the evening in which two people were shot, he said. The store was on Route 299, not far from the police station.

The department is particularly interested in a blue convertible, which shows up several times in the video, and is seen backing into a crowd of people, Kracyl said.
