Starting on Monday, October 5, Milford School District hosted a very exciting Homecoming week with a lot to celebrate. In addition to the tradition spirit week, where students dress up to student-selected themes, the Milford football team blanked their rival Seaford High School 48-0, placing them at the top of the Henlopen South Conference. At a community level, residents of the Milford School District voted on Tuesday, October 6 to approve an operations referendum which will be used to enhance classroom technology, address the budget deficit, replace local programing and assist with recruiting and retaining teachers. On Friday, October 9 students joined before the football game as they continued the tradition of the Homecoming parade through downtown Milford. At halftime, Milford students selected Sean Hinton and Cara Warren as their 2015 Homecoming King and Queen.
