Bayhealth will host town hall meetings in several locations throughout Sussex County over the next few months to share information about the new health campus project. The events are open to the public with light refreshments available.
Town halls will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. at Houston Fire Company; Monday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at Slaughter Beach Fire Hall; and Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m. at Milton Fire Company.
Participants will learn about the new health campus, the project timeline, development process, and see the site plan. The teams responsible for developing the new health campus and those working to reimagine the existing Clarke Avenue facility will also be on hand to answer questions and hear comments.
In Nov. 2014, Bayhealth shared plans to build a new health campus in Sussex County. The project – which will redefine health care for Milford and surrounding areas – is scheduled to open in 2019. Positioned on a 165-acre property just off of Route 1, the new health campus will allow Bayhealth to provide cutting-edge health care in a highly accessible and convenient setting.
